Hi and welcome to my post about the best educational toys for children.

Children will be going back to school pretty soon and you might be looking for ways to make learning fun. Simple things like introducing them to toys that serve as educational and at the same time fun would really help boost a child’s confidence.

There are cool toys out there, just like I mentioned in a previous post and in this post we will look at more educational toys in order to get kids ready for the new school year.

We did our findings and we’ve now put a list of our top 13 educational toys below; so here we go:

Conclusion

Now that’s my awesome list of the best educational toys for children. Summer will fly by fast and soon it will be time to start packing lunches while the kids pack their backpacks ready for school so I recommend these educational toys listed above because it will wake up children’s minds and brains and also prepare them for a fun school year ahead.

  1. I love the Butterfly Terrarium the most, maybe that’s because I love butterflies. I didn’t realise this was even something that can be available for children as an educational toy. I think even though I would be getting it for my child, I think I would have fun with this too haha. I’ve played with the giant connect 4 game and it truly is fun playing it in the giant version!   I’m also glad you included monopoly, as this is a fave of mine from when I was a kid, which I’ve been able to encourage my own kids to appreciate and play too. It’s very educational for many aspects of their learning. Thanks heaps for posting and putting a great list of games together for parents to help them decide for gifts or help children do educational activities as an alternative to being on technology instead.

    • Hi Kat, the Butterfly Terrarium is a great choice! Oh yes it is fun and educational for the kids as they get to see how caterpillars develops into a butterflies. Of course adults would have fun with it too with their kids. The giant connect 4 is great for friends and family to have some fun whether indoors or outdoors. This makes it a great choice too! Monopoly is enjoyed among families and has been around for so long and it doesn’t look like it will go away anytime soon. I am so glad you enjoyed this post.   2. Oh this is a really great list here. I think my young sister would really like monopoly. Especially how that that one uses electronic. That’s pretty cool for a game that to adopt a one tap system. I think I’ll also get the rubiks cube for her too, that can help her have a smarter brain. Summer is really going to end soon, thanks for putting this up.

    I like the LeamFrog Learning Friends 100 Word Book. There are over 100 appropriate words such as food, meal, fruit, pets, colors, and more. I know he is picking up new words now and he will love these toys. Also he loves singing songs and this book includes some songs. It is so nice and I am going to purchase this one, since the price of around $20 is in budget range.
